Another rock bag success story !

Through collaboration with Great Ocean Road Authority, Rock Bag Filter Units were chosen for their simple yet effective solution for protecting an existing sea wall from relentless wave action which over time had increasingly become unsafe for the local community.

A series of 4 ton rock bags offer protection around the base of the wall by absorbing and dissipating wave energy, thus eliminating further scouring of sand and concrete around the footings.

The armouring system was installed rapidly and safely with 1 crane and small team of workers with great success. The project was well under time line allocated and well under budget.
